Suspects arrested after house robbery at Litha Park, Lingelethu West, Khayelitsha.
A 24-year-old suspect will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrates’ court once charged after he was arrested for a house robbery yesterday.
During the early hours of yesterday morning about 02:15, a house robbery was perpetrated at a residence in Litha Park, Lingelethu West, Khayelitsha. According to information, unidentified suspects robbed the complainant at gunpoint and fled the scene in a white VW Polo Vivo with cellphones that the complainant has been repairing.
Preliminary investigation led the police to an address in Burgundy Estate where the getaway vehicle was spotted. Premises were searched and the stolen cellphones, tablets and a computer monitor were recovered.
