House ransacked during home invasion in in Parkgate
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to a home on Colchester Place in Parkgate – Verulam after receiving reports of a house break-in that had already occurred.
Upon arrival it was established that the rear security gate was forced opened and the wooden panels from the bottom half of the stable door were removed. Two rooms in the house were ransacked. An undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry, and a Plasma TV was stolen. Witnesses reported seeing a VW Jetta 2 leaving the property.
The registration of the vehicle is unknown at this stage.
