Habitual breaking-in suspect arrested on Moss Street in the Verulam
The suspect was arrested by members of Reaction Unit South Africa after he broke into an office block on Moss Street in the Verulam CBD.
Reaction Officers were dispatched to Temple Chambers next to the Verulam Magistrates Court after receiving a call of a break-in in progress. Upon arrival Officers searched the premises and apprehended the suspect inside the building.
While being interviewed he confirmed that he and two accomplices had also broken into a hardware business on Wick Street in the Verulam CBD during the early parts of this morning. The suspect claimed to be 17 years old even though he looked much older. He is believed to be linked to several other crimes.
He is currently detained at the Verulam SAPS.
