Honda Motor Southern Africa Announces Appointment of New President
Honda Motor Southern Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Hiroyuki Tazawa as the new President, effective immediately. Hiroyuki Tazawa will succeed Toshiaki Konaka, who has been appointed as Regional Head of Africa Middle East Regional operations.
Hiroyuki Tazawa joined Honda in 1990 and has gained extensive automotive experience. During his career at Honda, he has obtained expertise through the organisation within the sales, product planning and logistics divisions. Mr. Tazawa held a management role within the Japanese domestic automobile market and has worked in the Middle East, specifically in Iran, where he acquired valuable experience in the motorcycle division.
Honda Motor Southern Africa will continue to strengthen our business across South Africa and the SADC region, under the leadership of Hiroyuki Tazawa.
