SAPS member died in the line of duty in Stellenbosch

DPCI Hawks are probing the murder of a 31-year-old on duty Stellenbosch Crime Prevention Unit Constable who was fatally wounded at a farm near Stellenbosch last night, 22 May 2019 at about 21:50, whilst pursuing a suspect wanted for house robbery. The member died on the scene due to injuries sustained.

The Western Cape Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen KE Jula has conveyed his sincere condolences to the family and colleagues for the loss of the member.
