Suspect arrested for possession of stolen property a hijacked vehicle in Kuyasa
On 20 May 2019 at about 21:00, information in connection with a stolen vehicles at a chop shop was received and operationalized by Crime Intelligence Unit in conjunction with the Cape Town K9 Unit, at a premises in Thongana Street, Kuyasa.
Two stolen vehicles were recovered and seized at the address of which a white Isuzu LDV with false number plates and positively linked to a hijacked case reported at Delft SAPS during May 2019. A White Ford Spectrum with false plates was positively linked to a stolen vehicle case registered at Muizenberg in May 2019. A 32-year-old suspect was arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property and a hijacked vehicle.
He will appear at the Khayelitsha Magistrates Court tomorrow, 23 May 2019, on the mentioned charges.
