Woman injured in a structural collapse in Ottawa
A 58-year-old woman was seriously injured after a wall collapsed on her at her home on Nirvana Road in Ottawa.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa arrived at the property and found the woman covered in building material. It was established the homeowner was in the process of a renovation when a newly constructed wall collapsed on the woman who was seated in one of the rooms.
She sustained severe injuries and was stabilized on the scene by paramedics before being transported to the hospital by ambulance.
