Community Policing Forum and Mahikeng SAPS stand together in preventing crime

MAHIKENG – In a quest to conduct crime prevention through environmental design, Mahikeng SAPS in collaboration with the CPF embarked on a de-bushing campaign at Top village near Mahikeng earlier today.

This is after the area has been identified as one of the hot spots following an alarming rate of contact crimes such as assault, robbery and rape were reported.

Furthermore, the aim of the project was to harden the target of the criminals as they always use the bush as an escape route.
