Female Car Thief Sought in Verulam, KZN

A female car thief is being sought after she drove off with a silver Renault Clio with registration NJ 73087 (pictured) from Osindisweni Government Hospital in Oakford this afternoon (Wednesday).

The owner of the vehicle arrived at RUSA Headquarters in Verulam at approximately 14:14. He explained that he is a nurse at the hospital. While vaccinating a baby, a woman stole the keys to his car which were lying on his desk. Witnesses reported seeing her driving off with the vehicle in the direction of Verulam. The victim believes that she may have been a patient at the hospital however this could not be confirmed.

Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the vehicle without success.
