Mahindra Unveils Its All-New Visual Identity

Mahindra South Africa yesterday unveiled its new visual identity including a brand-new logo that will differentiate its future product portfolio. Characterised by the ‘Twin Peaks’ logo, this represents the bold new direction Mahindra has embarked on with new-age products that have been designed to deliver a new-age ownership experience.

The new Twin Peaks logo and visual identity were created by Mahindra’s Global Design Team. It embodies the company’s willingness to change and embrace a new world order.

In designing the new logo and visual identity, the design team worked to incorporate Mahindra’s ethos of creating truly authentic SUVs and lifestyle bakkies for personal exploration and adventure.

The new visual identity evokes a powerful emotion of freedom and the brand statement of “Unleash the Explorer in You”. It also reflects Mahindra’s ambition and ability to take on new challenges head-on.

Speaking on the occasion, Sachin Arolkar, Head of International Operations, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited said, “The new look of brand Mahindra with its formidable product range shall enable its customers to explore the terrains of South Africa in a most adventurous way. No matter if it’s city roads or the gravel backroads of the Karoo. The visual overhaul of our identity will be done in a phased manner across our nameplates of SUV and lifestyle bakkies and across all the virtual and physical touchpoints where our customers interact with us.”

“Our new logo is more than just a visual change. It heralds a new growth phase for Mahindra in South Africa,” says Rajesh Gupta, CEO of Mahindra South Africa. “In the coming months, customers will see a complete rejuvenation of our approach and several exciting new additions to our range of authentic SUVs and lifestyle bakkies.”

The new visual identity will be seen throughout South Africa at Mahindra’s growing network of dealers and new products in the coming months, starting with the all-new XUV700 and followed shortly thereafter by the Scorpio-N.
