Robbery suspects crash vehicle into a street pole

On Friday afternoon at approximately 16h00, a white VW Polo was spotted in the Hamberg area in Roodepoort. The suspects fled the scene going towards Mariasburg.

The Fidelity Specialised Intervention Unit team and JMPD gave chase to try and intercept the vehicle. The suspects lost control and drove into a pole.

The suspects fled the scene and the vehicle was recovered. TVs, cell phones, a crowbar and a firearm holster were recovered.

Well done to all that were involved in the successful recovery.
