Spillage cleared after mini-tanker explosion on the N1 near William Nicol, Johannesburg

At approximately 11:45 ECSA members responded to N1 North before William Nicol for reports of a fire.

Upon arrival, it was established that a medium-sized diesel tanker fell off the back of a trailer and caught fire.

ECSA members assisted COJ in containing and extinguishing the fire, as well as assisted JMPD with closing the highway.

Fortunately, there were no injuries on the scene, however, there was a large spill in the roadway. A huge thank you to @drizit for assistance with containment and cleanup.
