Man gunned down in the parking lot of a shopping centre on Oaklands Drive in Oaklands

One person was shot and killed in the parking lot of a shopping centre on Oaklands Drive in Oaklands – Kwazulu Natal yesterday afternoon (Friday).

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received multiple calls from the public from 17:54 reporting the incident. On arrival, a male was discovered lying on the ground. He sustained three (3) gunshot wounds to his body and was pronounced deceased on arrival of Paramedics. According to witnesses, two suspects responsible for the murder fled in a white Nissan NP200 bakkie (registration unknown) after shooting the victim during an altercation.

A case of Murder is being investigated by the South African Police Services (SAPS).
