Trio appeared in court for Estate Agency Fraud

FREE STATE-Accused Tshitso Glory Motaung(31) appeared in Bloemfontein Magistrate court along with Moloimang Suzan Molelekoa(32) and Eliza Matlhoko(38) on Wednesday,10 February 2021 facing charges of fraud to the value of R344 500-00.

Matlhoko was arrested last year on Sunday,20 December and released on an R2000 bail. Motaung and Molelekoa who were at large trying to evade arrest handed themselves over to the Hawks’ Serious Corruption Investigation accompanied by their attorneys on Wednesday,10 February 2021.

It is alleged that the trio started a company and operated it as an estate agency. All three accused were not licenced to operate an estate agency. Based on the investigation, accused were selling houses, requesting buyers to make payments into the company bank account and did not transfer the ownership of the houses to the buyers.

The case against the trio has been postponed to Monday,12 April 2021. Tshitso Motaung was released on an R1500 bail and Suzan Molelekoa was released on an R1000 bail while Eliza Matlhoko was already out on an R2000 bail.
