Armed robbery at the River Square Shopping Centre in Three Rivers

On Saturday at approximately 15:45, our Vaal crew responded to reports of a shooting at the River Square Shopping Centre in Three Rivers.

Upon arrival, we were informed that an armed robbery had occurred at a jewellery store inside the mall.

The owner of the jewellery store sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. He was treated on scene and airlifted to a Trauma Hospital via Netcare911 HEMS.
