Drowning victim resuscitated and airlifted at Glen Beach, Camps Bay

Late yesterday afternoon the Western Cape Department of Health EMS/AMS rescue helicopter was dispatched to a primary call at Glen Beach, Camps Bay.

A male patient was resuscitated after being pulled out of the water by the emergency crew on scene. Return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) was successfully obtained and the patient was airlifted to Groote Schuur Hospital.
